Article 1: Scope of Application

The accommodation contract and related agreements entered into by the hotel with the guests shall be governed by these Accommodation Terms and Conditions, and any matters not provided for in these Accommodation Terms and Conditions shall be governed by laws and regulations or generally established customs. In the event that the hotel agrees to a special agreement to the extent that it does not contravene laws, regulations, and custom, such special agreement shall prevail notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding paragraph.

Article 2: Application for Accommodation Contract

A person wishing to apply for a lodging contract with the hotel shall provide the following information to the hotel.

  1. Name, place, age, telephone number, number of guests, and sex
  2. Date of stay, estimated time of arrival and date of departure
  3. Number of guests, age categories “adult (junior high school student or older), child (elementary school student), infant (under elementary school student)
  4. Other information deemed necessary by the hotel

Article 3: Registration for Use

Guests are required to register the following information at the reception desk on the day of use, in accordance with the Ryokan Business Law and related laws and ordinances.

  1. Name, address, age, telephone number, sex, previous place of stay, destination, and occupation of all guests
  2. For foreign guests who do not have a domicile in Japan, nationality, personal photo, passport number (we will obtain a passport image)
  3. Any other information deemed necessary by the hotel.

Guests under 18 years of age (including high school students) are not allowed to stay at the hotel alone, but may stay only when accompanied by a responsible person (other than a family member) who is at least 20 years old.

Handling of Personal Information

  1. Personal information provided to our hotel by law or by accommodation contracts (hereinafter referred to as “personal information”) is collected and used to provide the main services (accommodation services, etc.), to contact guests, and to improve the quality of the main services by analyzing the usage situation. (We may confirm reservations by telephone or e-mail.)
  2. The hotel will not provide personal information to third parties without the prior consent of the guest, except as required by law.
  3. When entrusting the handling of personal information to a third party within the scope necessary to achieve the purpose of use, the hotel will conduct a rigorous investigation of the third party and supervise it appropriately to ensure that confidentiality is maintained.
  4. Personal information will be handled in accordance with the privacy policy of the Museum’s business operator, Truth Co.

Article 4: Establishment of Accommodation Contract

The accommodation contract shall be concluded when the hotel accepts the application as stipulated in Article 2. However, this shall not apply if the hotel proves that it did not accept the application.
In the event that the provisions of Article 7 applies, the hotel will deduct the penalty and compensation from the accommodation charge paid by credit card at the time of application, and any remaining amount will be returned at the time of final payment of the accommodation charge in accordance with the provisions of Article 10.
In the event that the hotel has presented or announced incorrect accommodation charges on the Internet, by e-mail, or by telephone, etc., and even if an application for an accommodation contract has been made and accepted based on such accommodation charges, if the accommodation charges are significantly lower than those of the preceding and following dates, the hotel will not refund the civil service charge unless there is a reason (“limited”, “special”, etc.) for the significantly lower rates. ), the said accommodation contract shall be deemed invalid and the hotel shall promptly notify the customer to that effect.

Article 5: Refusal to Conclude an Accommodation Contract

The hotel may refuse to conclude an accommodation contract in the following cases.

  1. When the application for accommodation is not in accordance with these Accommodation Terms and Conditions.
  2. When the room is fully occupied.
  3. When it is recognized that the person requesting accommodation is likely to commit an act contrary to the provisions of laws and regulations, public order, or good morals in connection with the accommodation.
  4. When the person requesting accommodation is deemed to fall under any of the following items (a) through (c).
    • When there is a risk that the person who has requested to stay at the hotel may fall under any of the following items Boryokudan (organized crime groups) as defined in Article 2, Item 2 of the Law Concerning Prevention of Unjust Acts by Organized Crime Groups, (Law No. 77, 1991) (hereinafter referred to as “Boryokudan”). Boryokudanjin prescribed in Article 2, Item 6 of the same law (hereinafter referred to as “Boryokudanjin”) Boryokudan quasi-constituents or persons affiliated with Boryokudan or other antisocial forces.
    • Boryokudan or a juridical person or other organization whose business activities are controlled by Boryokudan or Boryokudan-affiliated persons.
    • A juridical person of which any of its officers falls under the category of Bouryokudan Member.
  5. When a person who requests to stay at the hotel uses language or conduct that causes significant inconvenience to other guests.
  6. When it is clearly recognized that the person requesting accommodation is a person with a contagious disease.
  7. When a violent act of demand is committed or a burden beyond reasonable limits is demanded in relation to the accommodation.
  8. When we are unable to accommodate you due to a natural disaster, a breakdown of facilities, or other unavoidable reasons.
  9. When it is in violation of the provisions of the prefectural ordinances listed at the end of this document.
  10. When the person who wishes to stay at the hotel requests the hotel to bear any special burden related to the stay.
  11. When the person requesting accommodation is a person to whom the provisions of Article 7 have been applied in the past.
  12. In other cases similar to the preceding items, when the hotel has reasonable grounds for refusing to conclude an accommodation contract.

Article 6: Guest’s Right to Cancel Contract

The guest may cancel the accommodation contract by notifying the hotel.
The guest may cancel all or part of the accommodation contract for reasons attributable to the guest. In such a case, however, the hotel will charge a penalty fee in accordance with the provisions of Appendix 2.
If the guest fails to arrive at the hotel by 9:00 p.m. on the day of stay without notifying the hotel, the accommodation contract may be deemed to have been cancelled by the guest. In such a case, the hotel will charge a penalty fee in accordance with Appendix 2.

Article 7: Right of the hotel to cancel the contract

The hotel reserves the right to cancel the accommodation contract in the following cases

  1. When it is recognized that the guest is likely to commit an act contrary to the provisions of law, public order, or good morals in connection with the accommodation, or when it is recognized that the guest has committed such an act.
  2. When a guest is deemed to fall under any of the following items (a) through (c)
    • Boryokudan (organized crime groups), Boryokudan members, quasi-constituents of Boryokudan, or persons related to Boryokudan, or other anti-social forces.
    • When the guest is a Boryokudan or a juridical person or other organization whose business activities are controlled by Boryokudan or Boryokudan-affiliated persons.
    • A juridical person, any of whose officers falls under the category of Bouryokudan member.
  3. When a guest uses language or conduct that causes significant inconvenience to other guests.
  4. When it is clearly recognized that the guest is a person with a contagious disease.
  5. When a violent act of demand is committed or a burden beyond reasonable limits is demanded in relation to the accommodation.
  6. When the hotel is unable to accommodate guests due to force majeure such as natural disasters.
  7. When a violation of prefectural ordinances occurs.
  8. When a guest smokes or sleeps in the hotel, tampers with firefighting equipment, or engages in any other conduct that may cause fire prevention hazards.
  9. When a guest does not comply with any of the other prohibitions in the Terms of Use stipulated by the hotel.
  10. When a person brings or attempts to bring any of the following items into the hotel
    • Guns and other firearms Guns and other firearms
    • Swords Swords
    • Articles that emit a markedly offensive odor
    • Articles in extremely large quantities
    • Items that ignite or catch fire easily (fireworks, incense, gunpowder, volatile oil, etc.)
    • Pets (2 dogs under 15 kg) Animals, insects, or other similar items other than pets (up to two dogs weighing 15 kg or less) for cottage use (if you are bringing a welfare/nursing dog for the physically challenged, please consult with the hotel in advance)
  11. Any equipment or property of the hotel taken out of the hotel or moved to another location within the hotel.
  12. When a guest attempts to change, alter, or modify the building or its facilities.
  13. If the guest makes any remark or behavior that is extremely disturbing to the hotel’s operators, etc. (hereinafter referred to as “employees”). (13) When a guest uses language or conduct that causes significant inconvenience to the hotel’s operators, etc. (hereinafter referred to as “employees”).
  14. When it is deemed that the guest is likely to cause serious inconvenience to other guests or employees due to intoxication, etc.
  15. When the guest requests the hotel to bear any special burden related to the stay.
  16. When it is found that the guest is a person to whom the provisions of this Article have been applied in the past.

When this hotel cancels the accommodation contract in accordance with the provisions of the preceding paragraph, the hotel will not charge for accommodation services that have not yet been provided to the guest. (In such a case, however, a penalty charge will be assessed in accordance with the provisions of Appended Table 2.)

Article 8: Hours of Use of Guest Rooms

Guests may use their rooms from 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 a.m. the following day. However, in the case of a consecutive stay, the guest may use the room for the entire day, except for the day of arrival and the day of departure.
The hotel does not provide for the use of rooms outside of the hours stipulated in the preceding paragraph (e.g., extension of stay).

Article 9: Compliance with Terms of Use

Guests are required to abide by the Terms of Use provided in their rooms while in the hotel.

Article 10: Payment of Accommodation Charges, etc.

The accommodation charges, etc. to be paid by the guest shall be as set forth in Attachment 1.
Guests shall pay the accommodation charges, etc. as described in the preceding paragraph in the following manner

  • Payment of the accommodation charge, etc. The guest shall complete the payment procedures for the accommodation charges, etc. by credit card at the time of application for the accommodation contract.
  • The accommodation charge will be finalized upon completion of check-out or incurrence of a penalty or indemnity, and payment of the accommodation charge will be completed upon completion of the final credit card payment procedure for the services rendered by the hotel. Accommodation charges, etc. will be charged even if the guest does not stay in the room voluntarily after the hotel has provided the room to the guest and made it available for use.

In the event that the hotel causes damage to a guest due to the performance or non-performance of the accommodation contract and related agreements, the hotel shall compensate for such damage. However, this shall not apply if the damage is not caused by reasons attributable to the hotel.
The hotel has Ryokan liability insurance in case of fire or other emergency.

Article 12: Treatment in the event that the contracted guest room cannot be provided

In the event that the hotel is unable to provide the contracted guest room, the hotel shall, with the consent of the guest, arrange for other accommodations with equivalent conditions as far as possible.
If, notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding paragraph, the hotel is unable to find other accommodation, the hotel will pay compensation to the guest in an amount equivalent to the penalty listed in Appended Table 2, and the compensation will be applied to the amount of compensation for damages. However, if there is no reason attributable to the hotel for not being able to provide a room, no compensation fee will be paid.

Article 13: Handling of Valuables, etc. of Guests

Guests are responsible for managing their own valuables. The hotel shall not be responsible for any loss or damage to guests’ valuables.

Article 14: Storage of Guests’ Luggage or Personal Belongings

The hotel is a non-staffed accommodation facility. The hotel will not be able to keep your baggage or personal belongings, so please take care of them by yourself. Please note that the hotel is not responsible for any damage or loss of guests’ luggage or personal belongings. In the event that a guest’s baggage, etc. is left at the hotel after the guest has checked out, the hotel will, in principle, wait for the guest to contact the hotel to inquire about the baggage, etc. and request instructions from the owner. In the absence of the owner’s instruction or if the owner cannot be identified, the hotel will keep the baggage for a certain period of time and then report it to the nearest police station or dispose of it after keeping it for one month. However, please note that food, beverages, cigarettes, magazines, and other items that the hotel deems difficult to store due to hygiene control reasons will be disposed of immediately.
In the case of returning luggage left behind at the hotel by mail, etc., guests are responsible for the shipping costs. In addition to the postage, a separate return arrangement fee may be charged depending on the type of baggage, etc. concerned.

Article 15: Parking Responsibilities

The hotel’s parking lot (8 spaces) is available on a first-come, first-served basis. As the hotel rents parking spaces to guests, guests are responsible for managing their own vehicles. Please note that the hotel is not responsible for the management of your vehicle.

Article 16: Liability of Guests

In the event that damage is caused to the hotel due to the intentional or negligent act of a guest, the guest shall compensate the hotel for the damage suffered by the hotel.

Article 17: Use of Computers and Internet Communications

Guests shall be responsible for their own use of the Wi-Fi service and other means of communication provided by the hotel, and the hotel shall not be liable for any damages incurred by guests as a result of any interruption of the Wi-Fi service or other means of communication due to system failure or any other reason. The hotel shall not be liable for any damages incurred by guests as a result of any interruption of Wi-Fi service or other means of communication due to system failure or any other reason. In the event that the hotel or any third party suffers any damage as a result of the guest’s use of Internet communications that the hotel deems inappropriate, the hotel reserves the right to request that such Internet communications be terminated and the guest shall compensate the hotel for any damages incurred.

In principle, the hotel will clean the guest rooms only after the guest checks out.
However, in the event that guests are using the same room continuously, we will enter the room at 11:00 a.m. for cleaning and replenishing amenities. Please note that we do not accept any changes in cleaning time.
If the guest does not wish to have the room cleaned or its amenities replenished, please leave a sign in front of the room entrance door stating “Don’t Disturb” in advance.
Please note that even if a guest requests that cleaning and replenishment of amenities are not required, the hotel may clean the room and change the linens without the guest’s consent only when deemed necessary by the hotel at intervals (once every three nights) as required by law and prefectural ordinance for the maintenance of the room and hygiene management. The hotel may conduct room inspections to check the sanitary condition of the guestrooms and facilities. Please be advised that we will call the guest’s registered cell phone in advance, but if the guest does not answer, we will enter the room without the guest’s consent.

Article 19: Changes to Accommodation Clauses

These Accommodation Terms and Conditions fall under the standardized terms and conditions under the Civil Code, and each provision of these Accommodation Terms and Conditions shall be changed in accordance with the provisions of the Civil Code when it conforms to the general interests of the guests or when there are reasonable grounds for requiring such change.
Any changes to these Accommodation Regulations shall be applied from the effective date stipulated at the time of posting the contents of the changed provisions on the website designated by the Company, the business operator of the hotel, as stipulated in Article 3. In the event of any changes to these Accommodation Regulations, a document stating the details of the changes, etc., shall be placed in the guest room.
When a guest uses the hotel on or after the effective date of the revised accommodation agreement, the guest shall be deemed to have agreed to the revised accommodation agreement.

Article 20: Governing Law

This Accommodation Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan, and any dispute arising out of or in connection with the Accommodation Agreement shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Osaka District Court as the court of first instance.
